The Best Bar None in Birmingham 2008
Risa / Jongleurs is situated in the heart of Birmingham’s night life and was recently awarded the "Overall Best Bar None" in a city wide award ceremony where 31 bars and clubs had been accredited. On the evening the venue also won the award for the "Best Night Club" and the "People Choice Award" voted by the public where the club managed to get over double the amount of votes of any other venue.
Retaining the title from 2007, Risa was also voted "Best Bar on Broad Street" earlier in the year at the Best Of Broad Street Awards and also won the "Overall Best Venue on Broad Street".
The venue incorporates a Jongleurs comedy club, the largest comedy chain in the UK, which has been entertaining people of all ages for over a quarter of a century.
Risa / Jongleurs Birmingham accepts PASS cards as a valid form of identification. The club operates a challenge 25 policy and believes that accepting PASS cards is beneficial for both customers and the venue.
The customers no longer have to bring out valuable forms of ID like passports or driving licences and the venue benefits by allowing customers that don’t have a passport or drivers licence access to the venue.
