Certified Age Restricted Sales training
This TSI accredited workshop is part of the TSI fair trading award.
The workshop is designed to provide a thorough understanding of age restricted products, the law
relating to those products, offences and penalties and what individuals and
businesses should do (due diligence).
It is essential for all staff, managers and owners of businesses where age restricted
products are sold to the public.
The workshop is highly participative, with delegates working through a number of
activities to help them understand the legislation and due diligence and apply their
learning back into their workplace.
The workshop concludes with a short 14 question multiple choice test to validate
delegate learning. TSI certificates will be issued to those delegates passing the test.
Objectives
The workshop has three main learning objectives for delegates:
Recognise age restricted products.
Understand the legislation relating to age restricted products.
Understand and apply individual and business due diligence to the sale of age
restricted products.
